Privacy policy

Blu is a social media manager for small businesses. CCC2C Inc. ("we", "us") runs Blu at blu.callcast.ai, as part of CallCast. This policy says what we collect when you use Blu, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, write to [email protected].

What we collect

• About you and your business. Your name, your WhatsApp number, and what you tell Blu about your business: its name, what you sell, prices, delivery, opening hours, and the bank details your customers pay into.
• What you send Blu. Your messages, photos, videos and voice notes in your chat with Blu.
• Accounts you connect. When you connect Instagram, a Facebook Page or TikTok, we receive what that platform lets you share with Blu: your account's id, name and picture, the access tokens that let Blu act for you, and, for Instagram, your posts with their pictures and captions, and the messages and comments people send your business.
• Your customers. The messages people send your business on Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp, and the details they give to buy from you, such as a name, phone number or delivery address.
• Payments for your plan. Your plan is paid through Paystack. We receive the payment's reference, amount and status. We never receive your card number.
• Your phone. Which browser and phone you use Blu on, and, if you turn them on, what is needed to send you notifications.

How we use it

• To do what Blu does for you: plan and make your posts, put them out on the accounts you connected once you have approved or set them up, answer your customers, take orders, and keep you informed.
• To keep a record of what you allowed Blu to do and when, so it is always clear that Blu acted with your permission.
• To keep Blu working and safe, and to fix problems.

To make posts, write captions, understand voice notes and answer customers, Blu sends the content involved to the AI services that do this work for us (such as Anthropic, ElevenLabs and image models reached through OpenRouter). They process it to give us an answer, under their terms with us. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

TikTok

If you connect TikTok, Blu receives your TikTok account's id, display name and profile picture, and access tokens that let Blu post for you. Blu uses them only to:

• show you which TikTok account a post will go to, and what your account allows (who can see a post, comments, Duet and Stitch);
• post the TikTok videos you set up, as you set them up, or send them to the TikTok app for you to finish there when you choose that; and
• tell you whether each post went out.

Nothing is posted to TikTok until you have set the post up on its own page in Blu. Your tokens are kept encrypted. You can disconnect TikTok at any time in Blu's Settings, which gives the tokens back to TikTok and stops Blu posting there. You can also remove Blu's access in the TikTok app.

Who we share it with

• The platforms you connect (Meta for Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp; TikTok), to publish your posts and send your messages there.
• Companies that run parts of Blu for us: hosting and storage (Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare), payments (Paystack), messaging, and the AI services above. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
• Anyone the law requires us to share it with.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your business uses Blu. When you ask us to delete your business, we delete its information, except the record of what you allowed Blu to do, which we keep for as long as we may need it to show that Blu acted with your permission, and anything the law requires us to keep.

Your choices

• Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it, at [email protected].
• Disconnect Instagram, Facebook or TikTok at any time in Blu's Settings.
• Turn notifications off in Blu, or in your phone's settings.

Keeping it safe

Blu is reached only over encrypted connections, access tokens for your accounts are stored encrypted, and only the people who run Blu can reach its systems.

Children

Blu is for business owners aged 18 or over. It is not meant for children.

Changes

When we change this policy, we post the new version here and change the date at the top. If a change matters, we tell you in Blu.
